Natural, fuller, and more balanced lips
Great lip enhancement isn’t about adding size; it’s about restoring balance and defining your natural shape. Expertly administered by an experienced nurse practitioner in Greenpoint, your care is always fully personalized to the look you want.
Starting at $750 per syringe, consultation is free.
What people say when they come in
Do any of these sound familiar?
“I want more shape, not more size.”
The most common sentence we hear, and it is a question of placement rather than volume. Building the lip upward instead of pushing it forward is what makes half a syringe read as definition rather than fullness.
“I want more balance in my top and bottom lips.”
You are describing proportion, not size. Product goes where the difference is rather than evenly into both, which is why the result reads as your own mouth instead of a new one.
“There are lines in my lips that look dry.”
Fine vertical lines and a papery surface are usually about hydration in the lip itself rather than volume. Placed shallowly, filler draws water into the tissue and the surface smooths. Often with very little added size.
“I had work done at another clinic and didn’t like the results.”
Then the first conversation is about what is already in there. If it has spread above your lip line it has to come out and settle before anything new goes in. Sofiya will tell you at the consultation if that is what she is looking at.

BeforeAfterWhat people ask before they book
Starting at $750 per syringe, in a 45-minute appointment. How much you need depends on your lips rather than on a package. Sofiya uses as much or as little as they actually call for, and first treatments here are usually conservative.
The consultation is free, and your price is confirmed before anything is injected. Dissolving, if you ever want it, is a separate $350 appointment. (Price in effect through 31 December 2026.)
Most people describe it as very manageable. The fillers contain lidocaine and topical numbing is applied first, so the appointment is more uncomfortable than painful.
Expect swelling to peak in the first day or two, improve noticeably by days three to five, and largely settle within a week. Bruising, if it happens, usually fades within seven to ten days. If you have something to be at, book at least two weeks ahead. Everyone heals a little differently, and the product’s own labelling allows for tenderness and swelling lasting up to about two weeks.
It is a way of injecting, not a product. Filler goes in as small vertical droplets working up toward the edge of the lip, which builds height and a defined cupid’s bow rather than pushing the lip forward.
It suits some anatomies and not others. Published clinical reviews note that vertical techniques can carry a higher risk of filler migrating above the border, so it is not an automatic choice. Sofiya will tell you at consultation which approach fits your lips, and will say so if she thinks a classic technique will serve you better. The comparison further up this page has the detail.
Sofiya Shimonova is a licensed nurse practitioner who has worked in aesthetics throughout her career, and she teaches injecting to other clinicians, including doctors.
Every appointment starts by looking at your face and hearing what you actually want, which is part of why the slot here is 45 minutes rather than fifteen. If you would like to see whether her eye matches what you have in mind before committing to anything, the consultation is free.
